Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting was held on 09/02/2009 at 2.30 pm under the chairmanship of Shri Anurag Goel, IAS, DC Goalpara cum Chairman VMC K.V. Goalpara. The various developmental works related to Vidyalaya was appraised to the elite body. Points were discussed agenda wise and the suggestions and approvals noted as under:-

01.Transfer of Land : The committee appraised about the positive progress regarding transfer of land. The new site for land proposed by District Administration has been inspected by selection committee of KVS (GR) headed by Asstt. Commissioner Shri A.K. Vajpayee, E.O. Shri S.K. Verma, Asstt. Engineer APPWD Shri K.S. Rabindra Babu. The feasibility report of the same has already been sent to KVS (HQ) New Delhi.

02.Class rooms for next Academic Session : Presently the school is running in temporary building of JTS (Junior Technical School). It is up to class VI and in new academic session class VII will come up. Two more rooms are required. One for class room and another for Junior Science Lab. Chairman VMC has already instructed concerned dept. and agency for the same and repair work is in progress and will be completed very soon.

03.Junior Science Lab. : It was also proposed in the VMC Meeting to establish Junior Science Lab. either from KVS fund or School VVN. All the members passed the resolution and chairman authorized Principal to take necessary steps to set up the Lab.

04.Furniture-Chairs for computer Lab ,Duel desk, Teachers table, Almirah, Podium, Chowky, T.V. Trolley, two boards ( Chairman & Principal) : In the next academic session furniture for class VII and Junior Science Lab are required. In the meeting the question was raised and it was proposed and passed in the meeting to procure all the required furniture i.e. Chairs, Duel desk, Teachers table, Almirah, Podium, Chowky, T.V. Trolley, two boards ( Chairman & Principal). Letter has been sent to KVSRO (G) for sanction of 1.5 lakhs in this regard. VMC approved for the same and Principal was instructed to start purchase procedure.

05.Purchase of Xerox, Fax, LCD, Scanner, DVD, Digital Camera etc. :  It was proposed and passed in the meeting to procure Xerox, Fax, LCD, Scanner, DVD, Digital Camera etc. Letter in this regard has been sent to RO(G) for sanction of Rs. 2 Lakhs.

06.Toilets & Water points to be erected: At present there is only two units of toilets. One for the girls and another for the boys and staff also. It is inadequate as well as unhealthy. The matter was raised in the meeting and the members suggested to raise this issue in PTA meeting and work should be done at the earliest by help of parents.

07.Admission for the session 2009-10: Identification of land has already been done. Site selection of KVSRO(G) visited the proposed land on 02.01.09 haeded by A.C. Shri A.K.Vajpayee and other members including member from construction agency. The Committee found it suitable for the construction of the school campus. A letter of acceptance and feasibility report has already been sent to KVS(Hqr.) New Delhi. District Administration is waiting for confirmation letter from KVS(Hqr.) to start transfer procedure.  VMC members and Chairman apprising the situation suggested that holding admission is not reasonable at all. Admission procedure may be started as per the Admission guidelines.

08.Advertisement for Contractual Teachers(PRTs & TGTs), Computer Instructor, Spoken English & Sports Coach:- For new session 2009-10 to prepare a panel of Contractual teachers, instructors and coaches an advertisement may be given in a reputed daily news paper for walk-in-interview on a suitable date and panel should be prepared well in advance.

09.Nominee Chairman:- Principal attracted the attention of members and VMC Chairman towards the post of Nominee Chairman lying vacant after transfer of Shri K.K.Bora ADC.Honourable Chairman instrucred Principal to induct name of Shri A.Goswami ADC Goalpara as Nominee Chairman.

10.Urgent need of teachers for Present session due to resignation:- The matter was discussed in the meeting and it was suggested by members to make necessary arrangements in this regard by consulting neighbouring KVs and their panels.
